Originally from England, Martin studied finance at Queen's University, Canada and economics at Kansai Gakuin in Japan. After graduation, he worked at Morgan Stanley and CNET Networks. He is now the Prez of Meebo. Martin makes whiskey cocktails, cycles, runs, rides his motorbike (his wife's friends think this is horribly irresponsible) and lives with his wife, their two children and dog, George, in the San Francisco bay area.

Bob joins us from Apple after spending 4½ years doing a bunch of really complicated things with network traffic analysis. At Meebo, Bob helps the team understand statistics and what users really and truly want. In his free time, Bob rides motorcycles, climbs large rocks (and mountains) and does yoga.

Jim helps with the care and feeding of Meebo's servers, providing new code for them to chomp on. Jim loves Stanford, and more importantly, his alma mater's sports teams. Dean still plays in a local indie rock band but bemoans the fact that neither his music gear nor his dog will ever fit on the back of his motorcycle.

Tom graduated from Rice University with a BA in History/Political Science then made the near-fatal mistake of graduating from Duke Law School and becoming a lawyer. He eventually came to his senses, left law and moved into HR, a field he has worked in at a variety of companies, including SGI, Brocade, Blue Shield of CA, and Glu Mobile. He grew up a semi-good Cajun boy on the bayous of Louisiana and still cooks a mean crawfish etoufee.

Larry graduated with honors from UCSB in Business Economics and then climbed the accounting ladder at Deloitte & Touche for six long years during the rise and fall of the internet bubble. Deciding it was time to see the sun again, he moved on to various start-ups helping them achieve financial glory and seeing even less of the sun (hmmm… that didn’t work out so well). When he is not crunching numbers, Larry is trying to pretend he still has skillz playing basketball and volleyball. Beth helps everyone at Meebo to develop empathy and understand how people use our products. She gets a thrill out of applying design principles to all kinds of problem-solving. After completing a degree in Economics and working for several years at a startup in Boston, she took up residence in San Francisco, a land flowing with sourdough bread, Art Deco, and rock climbing gyms. Beth knows every word of every Beatles song and has traveled through six African countries.

After growing up in snowy, sunless Syracuse where she obtained a B.S. in Media Production from Syracuse University, she followed her big city bliss to NYC. Kirsten's years on the publisher side of the table have prepared her well for her role with the Meebo Partnership Management team where helping partners optimize to meet their goals is her prime directive.

Jim hails from MTV & MySpace where he worked in Sales and Marketing and holds a Degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Oswego. Communications is his thing and helps him in his sales role at Meebo. Most of his free time is spent trying to make his twin's laugh. Being a father is the highest calling in life. He also loves to Golf and read Ghost stories in his spare time.

Ian is an Interactive Manager for ad products -- putting processes in place, providing creative direction and managing projects. He previously worked at Walmart for 5.5 years. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco, and his MBA from Notre Dame de Namur University. On his free time, he enjoys working on cars, videography, playing basketball, spinning music, biking and snowboarding.

Brandon joined Meebo as a Campaign Manager in our NY office. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Communications. Before coming to Meebo he worked at UGO.com as a Project Manager and recently was doing technical Account Management at Adap.tv. Originally from Chicago, he loves nothing more then the energy of NYC living. His greatest joy is not having a car, the Bears/Bulls and snowboarding. Go Buffs!

Kyle joined Meebo as a Senior Staff Accountant. When he is not out playing golf, tennis, softball, basketball, or watching football and boxing, he enjoys spending time with his lovely fiancee. You would never have guessed it if you met him, but he also enjoys long walks on the beach and frolicking in the rain. He graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in accounting and is well known by the members of the basketball team and the 20 people that actually show up to the games, as that guy that shot an air ball during the halftime show.

Leslye joined Meebo as a Senior Graphic Designer after a stint at Brady Communications. She graduated from John Brown University with a degree in Graphic Design/Illustration. When she isn't creating awesome stuff at Meebo, she loves inventing new recipes, enjoys wine & cheese on mountains (after hikes), learning to garden in an apartment, pretending she is athletic and fiddling!

Sam joined Meebo as a Server Operations Engineer. He attended Western Washington University and double majored in computer science and electronic engineering. WA was his home for his whole life until he joined us in CA! He enjoys reading, watching movies and cooking. He also likes being outdoors (hiking or fly fishing, or hiking to the place where he plans to fish!).

Dina joined Meebo as an executive assistant. Before joining us she worked at Cast Iron Systems, recently acquired by IBM. During her off time, she loves going to concerts and has been to EVERY Killers concert in the bay area! She spends all her free time with her daughter finding new places to eat and hang out. One of her fave hobbies is collecting shoes!

Dennis hails from a small, somewhat dirty, river town in Iowa. He joined Meebo as Director of Sales in our NY office. He initially moved to NYC to pursue a career in finance which somehow led him to media sales. During his off time he enjoys adventurous travel, board games, brunch, horse shoes, beach over pool, cheese over chocolate and beer over wine!

Nia has her PHR-CA, CCP, BS, and MRS yet continually strives to add more acronyms to her name. From biotech to optical devices to software, she's worked in a broad range of industries. Nia loves to try new recipes at home but when she does go out, it's always for the same dish at her favorite restaurant, Dish Dash. Human Resources is what Nia does. She has a knack for converting anti-HR hardliners to those who actually understand the role and the value they add and even take advantage of it! Nia is one of those people who have to get a stamp on every page of their passport!

Jake lives in downtown SF with his girlfriend and enormous cat, Colombo. He studied architecture and human computer interaction at the University of Colorado and Cornell. He has worked for eBay, Electronic Arts and Cisco, on the R&D side of product innovation, before coming to Meebo as the Principal Product Designer. He and his girlfriend spend most weekends hunting for specimens of vintage design to bring back home.

Tricia spent 10 months as a Research Consultant with Meebo before joining the team permanently as a Consumer Insights and Research Analyst. Before that she spent a decade working in Zoos and Aquariums working both with the animals and administratively. She even did a stint at the Playboy Mansion working as an animal keeper (yes, they have more than bunnies there!) In my spare time I love to take broken, run down items and reconstruct into something more beautiful and useful.

Shawn comes from the mid-west "town" of Indianapolis. To escape the extreme cold of winter and hot humid summers, he moved to Northern California where he now enjoys milder weather and the ocean. Before Meebo he worked for an IT Consulting company as Principal Consultant, Project Manager, Engineering Support Manger, Cloud Hosting Manager, and Water Boy (he would change the water cooler water). In his spare time he enjoys playing music (guitar and bass guitar), going to church, spending time with his family (wife and three teenagers), and watching Sci-fi.

Diego joined Meebo as a UX designer. Before joining Meebo he was at the Design and Usability Center in Waltham. Diego has a BS in Psychology from Gordon College, an MBA in Innovation from Hult International Business School and an MS in Human Factors from Bentley University. If it's sunny or not he is outside hiking, surfing, skateboarding or playing other sports. Or inside playing his guitar…

Amrut recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, where he tried to teach the computer difficult things. He became a Steelers fan by default, and claims to be able to play more than 10 musical instruments. In his spare time Amrut likes to watch TV and play Cricket :) He joined Meebo as a Machine Learning Engineer.

Tony works as a user experience designer at Meebo. He received his BS and MS from Carnegie Mellon, where he studied human-computer interaction, computer science, design, and general tomfoolery. Prior to Meebo, he's held some sweet gigs designing software for NASA, Salesforce.com, and Knewton. He doubles as a supervillain on the weekends, and his calloused heart of steel can only be penetrated by the sight of adorable puppies. (It is truly his kryptonite.)

Hailing from Madison, WI, Julie majored in math and computer science. She moved out to CA to work at HP for many years – artificial intelligence applications, chemical analysis instrumentation, computers, web portals and tools. Julie joined Meebo as a Scrum Master. When she isn't planning the next sprint, she enjoys coaching youth soccer, warm water diving and backpacking in CA and WA with her husband and teenage son.

After finding out that he was too old to fulfill his dream of wearing the maillot juane on the famed Champs-Elysees on the last Sunday of July, Daniel did the next big thing and got a job at Meebo. Daniel graduated from UCLA (go Bruins) and hopes to keep the routers and switches running at gig or tera (depending on how fast technology moves by the time this is posted) like speed for all of Meebo's network traffic to its faithful users. Besides riding his bike, Daniel likes to run, play his guitar, go to church, and of course spend time with his wife and family! What more can you ask for in life!

Melissa joined Meebo as an account executive in our Chicago office. She graduated with a degree in Marketing from Penn State University. Before joining Meebo, Melissa worked at cars.com. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family especially her husband John and 4 year old English Bulldog Molly. Melissa is somewhat of a hobby-dabbler and at any given time is likely trying to latch on to a few new past-times such as pilates, acoustic guitar, oil painting, furniture upholstery and jewelry making to name a few.

James works as an IT administrator and keeps his fellow meebs happy! This is his first full time job - lucky us! When he isn't saving someone's life at Meebo, he likes going to movies, reading comics, playing board games and playing darts!

Laura joins Meebo as an HR Generalist and Office Manager! As a Purdue graduate with a degree in History, Laura never thought she would now be on her third SaaS startup! Laura moved back home to Bay Area after graduation and is happy as a clam. When she's not conducting New Hire Orientation, you can find her teaching and taking dance classes, pretending to be Alton Brown in the kitchen, or jogging around Sunnyvale.
