What is MyWorkster IM on MyWorkster?
MyWorkster IM is an IM network for MyWorkster users that is powered by Meebo! Chat with your friends through the IM bar at the bottom of the MyWorkster site.
What is MyWorkster IM on Meebo?
Chat on Meebo and your MyWorkster friends will appear on your buddy list just like your other chat buddies do (i.e. Yahoo, MSN, AIM, etc.). To access your MyWorkster IM account through Meebo simply add your MyWorkster login details to your Meebo network accounts page.
If you don't have a Meebo account. It's pretty quick and painless to create one. We have all the steps to create a Meebo account linked and ready to go.
To add your MyWorkster login to Meebo
- Log in to Meebo.com
- Click the “account” link at the top of the page
- Enter your MyWorkster log in details
- Click save
How do I add a MyWorkster friend?
Login to your MyWorkster account at http://www.wadja.com/ and add friends just as you normally do from their profile pages. They will be automatically added to the MyWorkster IM friend list in the IM Bar, and also when you log in through Meebo.
How do I remove a MyWorkster friend?
Login to your MyWorkster account at http://www.wadja.com/ and remove the friends from your “My Friends” list. They will be automatically removed from your MyWorkster IM friend list in the IM Bar, and also when you log in through Meebo.
How do I refresh my buddy list?
You shouldn't have to refresh it at all! But if you need to, just minimize the buddy list to refresh it!
How do I change my status message?
Simply click the drop down arrow next to your user name and choose away or busy.
After you have selected your status, you can choose to leave a personal message to go along with that by entering text in the field right below your user name where it says “type a status message here.”
How do I sign out of MyWorkster IM?
Open up your MyWorkster buddy list, click the drop down arrow to the right of your user name, and choose sign off chat.
How do I sign back into MyWorkster IM?
On the bottom right of the page you'll see “You are offline. Sign on now. Click the box and you will be signed back in.
How do I block someone on MyWorkster?
To block someone while on MyWorkster:
- Log into your MyWorkster account
- Open your MyWorkster buddy list
- Select the drop down arrow under the MyWorkster Icon in the MyWorkster IM bar
- Select "block"
To block someone while logged into your MyWorkster account on Meebo:
- Log into your MyWorkster account on Meebo
- Under your MyWorkster group, right click on the MyWorkster you would like to block
- Select “block”
Note: You should not receive another message from the person you've block. The MyWorkster username should remain blocked until you unblock them.
How do I report abuse?
To report a user while on http://www.wadja.com/:
- Log into your MyWorkster account
- Open your MyWorkster buddy list
- Select the drop down arrow under the persons MyWorkster Icon
- Select report
What is the Meebo Pop-out?
The Meebo pop-out will allow you to interact with your MyWorkster buddies in another browser. You'll notice at the bottom left of your MyWorkster IM buddy list is a pop out icon. 
When you click this Icon a separate browser will open and take you to meebo.com, automatically load your MyWorkster IM buddy list.
What is connect to Meebo?
Now you can connect to your Meebo account while on our Partner's website. Connect to Meebo so that you can chat and share with your friends from any network Meebo provides while on MyWorkster
How do I connect through Connect to Meebo?
Connecting and sharing on other networks through Meebo Connect is as simple as entering a single Meebo user name and password. Here’s how it works:
- Select connect on your MyWorkster IM buddy list powered by Meebo.com
- Enter your Meebo user name and password
- Connect.
If you don't have a Meebo account, it’s pretty quick and painless to create one. Simply select to register from your MyWorkster IM buddy list or go to Meebo.com. We have all the steps to create a Meebo account linked and ready to go.
How does the Share Page option work?
The new “Share page” option is pretty smooth. You can share in a whole new way.
Selecting the Share Page button will allow you to share your MyWorkster URL on Facebook, Twitter, or via Email.
- Select the Share Page button on the Meebo bar.
- Select Facebook, Twitter, or Email. If you’re not already signed in, you’ll be prompted to before your share.
- Finally, Share Page.
What is Drag and Share?
Some images on MyWorkster will be enabled to drag and drop to buddies on your list, Facebook, Twitter, or even through email. If the image is enabled you’ll see a drag and share icon when you hover over the image. Simply grab the image and drag it to the sharing option of your choice. Of course if you don’t see the icon, you cannot share the image.
You can also share the Ads through the Meebo bar.
- Select the Ad to open
- Grab the Ad Icon to the left of “drag and share.
- Drag the Icon to a buddy, Facebook, Twitter, or through Email to share.
Features in Meebo that are currently not supported for MyWorkster IM
Unfortunately, some of the things you can do in Meebo for other networks aren't yet supported for MyWorkster IM.
- Renaming a user
- Dragging and dropping a friend to invite to a conference
- Starting a group chat
- Chat logs
- Invisibility
Compatible Browsers
MyWorkster IM should display and function properly with most major browsers. Recently we've seen some issues with IE8 Beta. You'll have to make sure and click the Compatibility View button in the tool bar in order for the IM bar to display correctly.
