Meebo Rooms is an interactive chat room service available to Meebo members and guests alike and was released in early May of 2007. Much of the development of Meebo Rooms was driven by the Meebo user community with users requesting a more enriching group chat experience after Meebo IM chat was launched.

The media inside Meebo Rooms is often a topic of interest and can spark lively discussion on the subject at hand. Similar to the Meebo Me widget product, Meebo Rooms was released with the option to embed a chat room on an external website such as your myspace page or personal blog. Visitors to your website can join in the current discussions of a Meebo room by typing into the Meebo Room widget installed on your site.
