You can create a meebo room without having a meebo account, but you will not be able to modify or manage the room after it is created.

The best way to create a room is to log into meebo with your meebo account id. Then you will be able to configure and manage the room. If you do not have a meebo account, go to www.meebo.com and click the Sign up now button.

From Your Meebo Page

1. Log into meebo with your meebo account
2. Click on the meebo rooms link at the top of your meebo page
3. The meebo rooms console will appear. Click on the create a new room button near the upper right corner of the console.
4. Create New Room window will appear, enter the info for your room
   • Room Name: Enter a name for your room
   • Description: (optional) Enter a description for your room
   • Tags: (optional) Enter words that relate to the topic of your room
   • Categories: (optional)
   • Sharing: Allow visitors to add media
   • Privacy: If private is selected, users will need to enter the password to join the room.
     Private rooms are not embeddable. You will not be able to embed private rooms on your own website.
5. Click on Next
6. Invite buddies to join your room (optional)
   • Invite Message: Enter an invite message
   • Buddies: Check the buddies you want to invite to your room
7. Click on Create New Room

Your room will appear and you will be listed as a member of the room. You will see a star icon next to your name within the room, indicating that you are the room moderator. Your room will also be listed on your buddy list within the meebo rooms group.

From www.meebo.com/rooms

You can also create your room via http://www.meebo.com/rooms/yourown/. The steps are similar to the above.
