Meebo support

This page has been made to keep a listing of browsers that work with Meebo Messenger. On most platforms, due to its open source and multi-platform nature, we recommend the use of the Firefox web browser. Firefox has shown the best compatibility with the technologies used for Meebo Messenger, and will load even the largest of buddy lists in seconds.

Here is a list of browsers which have been tested and are known to work with Meebo Messenger.

Note: The Meebo Firefox extension add-on is not compatible with Firefox on Linux.

The Meebo Bar

While Meebo Messenger will work on all of the browsers listed above, note that the Meebo bar is not supported in Safari 3.2 (or earlier) or Chrome 2.0 (or earlier).

Incompatible Browsers

The browsers listed below do not currently work with the Meebo service.

• Konqueror the KDE default browser (Note: changing the browser identification does not fix).
