Meebo support

Your Meebo ID can have multiple IM accounts connected to it. You can use the BlackBerry app to sign on to, sign off of, add, or remove accounts. Access the accounts page by pressing the BlackBerry menu button and selecting Accounts. This page displays a list of the accounts connected to your Meebo ID. On the right side of each account, you will see a green circle if you are signed on to the account, and a gray x if you are currently signed out.

Connecting an existing account to your Meebo ID

To connect an existing IM account to your Meebo ID

1. Access the accounts page by pressing the BlackBerry menu button and selecting Accounts. You will see a list of all of your currently connected accounts.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Add Account. You will see a list of IM networks that you can add using the BlackBerry app.
3. Select the IM network for which you would like to add an account. Note that you must already have an account on that IM network in order to connect it to your Meebo ID.
   
   Note: At this time, you cannot add a Facebook account from the BlackBerry app. If you would like to add a Facebook account, log into your Meebo ID at meebo.com and add your Facebook account there. Once you've added a Facebook account, you can chat with your Facebook friends using the Meebo app.
4. Enter your credentials for the selected IM network. Enter your username and password for your existing IM account on the network you selected. You may add multiple accounts from a single network. Set the Auto-Signon option to connect to this account automatically when you open the Meebo for BlackBerry app.
5. Click Done. The new account will appear in your list of accounts.

Removing an account

To remove an account:

1. Access the accounts page by pressing the BlackBerry menu button and selecting Accounts. You will see a list of all of your currently connected accounts.
2. Click the account you would like to remove. You will see the account status screen.
3. Select Remove Account. You will be prompted to confirm the removal of the account . Click Yes to remove this account from your Meebo ID.

Signing on and off of Accounts

1. Access the accounts page by pressing the BlackBerry menu button and selecting Accounts. You will see a list of all of your currently connected accounts. The status icon to the right of the account name indicates whether you are currently signed on or signed off.
2. Click the account you would like to sign on or off of. You will see the account status screen.
3. Select Sign On or Sign Off. This button will change depending on whether you are currently signed on. You can also determine whether you will be automatically signed on to this account when signing in to the Meebo app by setting the Auto-Signon option.
