Our Design Diva (or Divo) will be helping define new innovative ad design standards and creating content for high-profile partners and brands like box office hits, hot recording artists, new consumer products, and online games. Our audience is big and they don't do "boring," so we want interactive ad material within Meebo that adds value for our users. With a keen eye for visual design and the chops to back it up, you will be working on a variety of creative media using Adobe CS - Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash, to create non-standard content that our users will want to share with everyone they know. You'll be working in a feedback-oriented team environment with folks who are diverse, humble, genuine, and fun.

How you'll contribute:

• Collaborate with the Creative team to design rich-media ads in Meebo using Flash, Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash)
• Utilize supplied graphical assets and media (video, swf, Flex) to build immersive experiences that are fun to engage with
• Create ad content ranging from simple HTML pages with embedded video to multipage Flash micro-sites
• Design gorgeous wallpaper graphics that are part of each ad campaign
• Adapt to different design styles and adhere to various brand guidelines
• Create custom graphics, icons, etc
• Wow millions of Meebo users

Our ideal candidate has:

• A Bachelor's degree in visual arts (preferred)
• 5+ years of professional Web, Flash design/animation experience working with corporate clients
• Mastery of engaging Web design, HTML, CSS typography, color and layout principles
• Photoshop mastery—digital imaging expert, able to create rich compositions with raster and vector assets
• Proven experience designing Web pages with embedded media and interactive Flash content
• Extensive Flash experience producing a variety of animation treatments and effects
• Experience with ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0, working knowledge of Adobe Flex
• Familiarity with embedding swf files and integrating flv and other video content
• Knowledge of current design and Web advertising treatments
• Instinct for good usability—appreciates one-click interfaces and interaction consistency
• Ability to interpret verbal direction into visual beauty
