Meebo is seeking a bright, energetic, and dedicated team player who has strong, versatile computer science fundamentals and who will be a core contributor to architecting, building, and scaling Meebo’s backend. You will need strong skills in application and server-side development; experience and interest in designing and building high-volume systems is a big plus. You’ll be a full-time, integral member of the server developer team. Meebo’s Web Producer will have a passion for web technologies, be familiar with HTML, JavaScript, know a few shortcut keys in Photoshop, have an appreciation for visual design (e.g. color schemes, typography, and layouts) and would feel comfortable picking up new scripting languages like Python as necessary. Visualization Engineer - Intern
We love data and we strive to make our data accessible to everyone from our product teams, to our advertising partners, and to our user community. Meebo is seeking a visualization geek who uses pixels to provide insight into the structure and meaning of data. Our ideal candidate will translate complex large-scale data sets into colors, shapes, lines, and interactive diagrams. This individual will have widespread impact across Meebo’s entire organization and also to meebo’s partner and user community. The Visualization Engineer’s will strive to promote understanding, provide a framework for critical analysis, and inspire future product and strategy direction.
