Meebo’s Product Marketing Manager will be part of the team that oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of revenue-generating programs. They will drive customer/clients needs into new features, new services, and new programs, balancing the needs of Meebo’s revenue goals with the need to maintain product integrity and user interests.

What you will do:

• Partner with Sales and Product teams to identify revenue opportunities and develop, package and sell breakthrough advertising/marketing solutions, balancing ad solutions with the objectives and priorities of Meebo. This includes determining how to best leverage site and platform assets for various revenue streams, inventory optimization, pricing and packaging and user engagement
• Have a thorough understanding of user and marketer needs in order to inform product and program development. Including gathering market, product and customer feedback -- leveraging company and third-party resources as appropriate
• Creatively respond to RFPs with ideas that take advantage of Meebo’s highly flexible ad solutions
• Exhibit a deep understanding of Meebo’s technical backbone and leverage this understanding to craft smart, scalable marketing programs
• Make the best use of the technology at our disposal and identify new technologies worth investigating
• Project ownership – Specify needs for program development, design and functionality. Define technical requirements and write specifications for marketing programs. Oversee the launch of new programs watching performance closely and updating programs as needed
• Partner with Marketing and Sales in the development of sales-related tools, presentations and materials including sales collateral and any available ad research
• Serve as a product expert; actively participating in the communication of product features and benefits to internal and external audiences

You must have:

• Thorough understanding of the principles of Marketing (including Research, Public Relations, Branding, Message Development, Pricing and Product Development) as well as sales and selling cycles
• Client-service focused, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Minimum of 3 + years of online publishing or online sales experience
• Project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Positive attitude that remains consistent despite challenging situations
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Communicates effectively, understanding the nuances of his/her audience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Product marketing or advertising agency experience a plus
• Bachelor degree required
