Meebo is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer to develop its growing product line for multiple mobile platforms such as the iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android OS. As an engineer on a new product initiative, you will have massive impact on the architecture and initial feature set that will fulfill Meebo’s mission to create a world-class mobile communications product.

Responsibilities:

• Develop mobile product from scratch with an eye on the overall product roadmap schedule
• Proactively surface features or bugs that require more time than predicted and involve team in solving problems or reprioritizing projects as necessary
• Create test cases for the QA team and ensure product is well-tested and documented
• Collaborate with Creative and User Experience teams to develop and refine user interface
• Outstanding team player with the desire to work with other engineers to ensure product consistency and maintainability

Requirements:

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent
• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures and an appreciation for CS fundamentals
• Expertise in Objective-C/Java/C/C++ (optimization work a plus)
• 1-2 years of previous mobile development experience
• Strong understanding of mobile industry and competing products
• Ability to prioritize competing roadmap projects
• Previous experience building a product from start to finish
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
